Favourite Beauty Finds of 2013

Hi Sweeties.  It’s been such a busy time lately as I’m sure it has also been for most of you, I hope you all had an amazing Christmas & have enjoyed all the festivities!

Today I have been reflecting on some great moments I’ve experienced during 2013, one of which was starting my blog. One day back in April I decided to try my hand at blogging to chat about two of my favourite things; beauty & fashion. Back then I honestly never thought I would achieve what I have to date. I have met some lovely people most being fellow bloggers via WordPress & Twitter & I’m still amazed & so happy to have gained over 250 followers via this site & Bloglovin, so again I thank you all very much! It brings me lots of happiness reading your comments & knowing that someone out there appreciates my posts. During this time I have also discovered many fabulous beauty & fashion blogs that I love to read & follow, from this I have been introduced to some lovely new beauty products which I’m so glad to have found. So, I thought I would share with you what my most favourite beauty products are that I have found during 2013. Here they are!

Favourite Beauty Finds of 2013

BODY

There are a couple of products that have made it into my ‘favourite’ body products this year, these being:-
Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser.  A fabulous creamy, fresh, time-saving product that does make my skin feel silky smooth – this one was honestly a great surprise!
Daisy Eau So Fresh by Marc Jacobs eau de toilette spray.  A lovely fresh but delicate long-lasting fragrance, just fabulous for any time of the year.

EYES

Some amazing make-up products I have found to use on my eyes are:-
HD Brows High Definition Brows ‘Foxy’ Palette.  A great little palette with a range of shades from neutral, light brown, dark brown to very dark brown/touch of grey, which can also be used as eyeshadows as well as to define the brows.
They’re Real Mascara by Benefit.  I already love Benefit cosmetics but was dieing to try this mascara after reading so many good reviews, I was very excited when I received a mini version in a beauty box. From the very first use I could understand why the great reviews & I very much agreed, it’s one of the best mascaras I’ve tried for a long time & it really emphasises & defines my lashes without the need for any false lashes – fabulous!
Cream Eyeliner by e.l.f.  I have only recently discovered the brand e.l.f. but it has immediately become a favourite brand, the products are so inexpensive & from what I have tried so far most have been some great little finds. In particular the cream eyeliner. It comes with a little brush & the product is so easy to apply & it lasts all day/night without smudging.
Naked3 Palette by Urban Decay.  An amazing range of eyeshadow shades from very neutral, pinky tones through to various shades of browns/neutrals. This was in fact my very first ‘Naked’ palette, I decided to treat myself to this as I had read so many great reviews about the other Naked palettes, I just had to have one!

LIPS

My most favourite lip product that I have found this year is:-
Stila Lip Glaze.  The shade shown in my photo above is Grapefruit but I now have about four or five different shades that I like to switch between, I just love these, a subtle gloss that’s not sticky but lasts, they smell so yummy too & with the pen style packaging they are so easy & efficient to use.

FACE

There are a few products for my face that I have fallen for this year, these are:-
Bronzing Primer by Bourjois.  A great little bronzing product that also provides a lovely base/finish to my skin, easy to use & smells lovely too!
HD Blush by e.l.f.  The shade shown in my photo above is Headliner. This blush is a firm favourite & it’s currently my most used blush. A lovely pink shade which gives my cheeks that slightly flushed glow. Excellent value for money, although it’s hardly an expensive product as it is but only a tiny amount is needed per application so it goes a long way too.
The POREfessional by Benefit.  This is the best primer I have found to date! I use this product almost every day, it provides an amazing smooth base for the rest of my make-up & makes my skin look & feel so much better, it’s also really good for touch-ups throughout the day when needed.

So these are my favourite beauty finds for 2013, I have already reviewed some of these products in more detail & if you would like to read more about them then please click on my links below. Any that I haven’t reviewed I will be doing so in the near future.
